Who we are

Kursus Finder is an independent site that compares online courses. It grew out of a common frustration: to learn Python, Excel or Figma there are hundreds of courses, and each one looks like the best on its own sales page.

Instead of another generic list, we build rankings by topic and by language. Each ranking answers a direct question, such as "what is the best Python course in English?", and shows how we got to the answer.

Our mission

To help you pick the right course in a few minutes, with clear information you can compare. That is why every page follows the same pattern: the answer comes first, and the details behind it come right after.

We don’t sell courses and we don’t have a course of our own. Our job is to organize what already exists so the decision is easy.

What you find in every ranking

All rankings share the same structure, so you can compare different topics the same way.

  • Quick answer

Right at the top: the course we recommend most and who it is for. In a hurry? You can stop there.

  • Two separate scores

The Kursus Finder score, from 0 to 10, and the students’ rating on the platform, from 1 to 5. They measure different things and are never mixed.

  • Pros and cons

What each course does well and where it falls short, in short, direct lists.

  • Last updated date

Every ranking shows when it was last reviewed. Ratings and review counts change over time.

How a ranking is made

From research to publication, every ranking goes through the same steps.

  1. Research

We gather the courses on the topic that are available in the ranking’s language.

  2. Analysis

We look at content, level, length and the ratings from people who took each course.

  3. Score and order

Each course gets a Kursus Finder score, and the courses are ordered from last to 1st place.

  4. Review

The ranking is reviewed before it goes live and updated when the courses change.

Independence and transparency

A ranking is only useful if you can trust the order. These are the rules we follow.

  • No one buys a spot

Courses, instructors and platforms don’t pay to appear or to move up a ranking.

  • Links don’t change the order

Some links to the platforms may earn a commission in the future. That never changes a course’s position, and the price for you stays the same.

  • Reviewed comments

Reader comments are reviewed before they appear, to keep the conversation useful.

  • Mistakes get fixed

Spotted something outdated or wrong? Tell us in the ranking’s comments: we review and fix it.
